About our Founder
The Official Story
Sarah Santacroce is the Founder of the Humane Business Revolution. She’s also a Conscious Business Coach, an internationally recognized LinkedIn Consultant, podcaster, ‘Hippie turned Business Coach’ and author of ‘Marketing Like We’re Human‘ and ‘Selling Like We’re Human‘ books.
Sarah has over a decade of experience in the fields of marketing, entrepreneurship, coaching, online business creation, strategy and of course coaching. She has been facilitating, training, and holding space with in-person and online groups (1 – 100 people from all over the world) since 2010 and is trained in the ‘Art of Holding Space‘ as well as ‘The Art of Participatory Leadership‘.
Her approach is grounded in these pragmatic experiences, based on research and best practice. Bundled with her extensive inner work, knowledge about mindfulness, meditation, and alternative ways of healing, this creates a unique perspective on business that is holistic, humane, and gentle.
In recent years, Sarah’s upbringing and life’s experiences inspired a yearning to create a global movement that encourages people to bring more empathy and kindness to the business world, live a more meaningful life and take care of our mother earth and each other.
She lives in beautiful Switzerland where she was born and raised but considers herself an alternative thinking citizen of this world. When she’s not working she loves adventure and traveling (ask her about her alter ego in Sicily), yoga and nature walks or hanging out with her 3 boys (a husband and two teenage sons).
The personal story...
... about getting lost in the Online Marketing Jungle
Hi there, I’m Sarah. Over the last 15 years, I’ve been building a successful LinkedIn Consulting business, working with entrepreneurs to help them position themselves as experts online. Almost every one of them told me they didn’t enjoy marketing and sales.
I’ve come to realize that doing things that are out of alignment is easier when we put on a mask. That’s what I did, as well.
Out of fear of being different or being rejected I changed who I was, I tried to be like everyone else, just to fit in.
And with that mask on, I was so adaptable: I blindly followed the advice of all the big marketing gurus out there.
- They told me to sell on webinars, then that's what I did, applying their advice of using urgency and fear of missing out (feeling like such a fraud while reading that script).
- They told me that they made millions on their latest launch, so I bought their 'launch-system' (but never actually implemented it because I just could not bring myself to schedule 4 ‘cart-closing’ emails).
- They told me they made millions (different guru, same message) with Facebook ads, so I hired a coach to help me with Facebook ads and created a funnel (I’ll let you figure out how that one ended…).
- They told me to scale, to hustle, to go big or go home ...
But then...
I did some inner work with a therapist and I remember this one particular session where, in tears, I told her:
“It’s so darn hard to be different!”
Even though it felt like a breakdown, it was a breakthrough. A seed was planted.
I was ready to come full circle!
I was ready to take the risk and give myself permission to do business and marketing my way – EVEN IF that meant that I’d fail the first few times.
This realization inspired a yearning in me to create a global movement that encourages entrepreneurs and Marketing Impact Pioneers to bring more empathy and kindness to business & marketing, and giving themselves permission to be different.
I called it ‘The Gentle Business Revolution’.
As the daughter of two hippie parents leading this gentle and humane revolution feels like a homecoming to me 🙂
nice things people say about me
My clients like to work with me because I’m structured, focused, result oriented, ‘the real thing’.
They use the word ‘authentic’ even if all I’m doing is being myself.
Here are some nice things people said about me:
Sarah really is the perfect messenger for this gentle and humane revolution. She knows what it’s like to work within big businesses as well as small structures—both the hard “old-school” way and the new, aligned, gentle way. She has road tested every principle she talks about and continuously finds new approaches to go her own way.
Sarah provides us with a marketing road map towards this new paradigm, one that sees and honors the higher consciousness and best, highest self in potential clients, rather than appealing to lower instincts or making people feel inadequate so they are primed to purchase more.

- Steven Morris
Sarah shares a somewhat radical approach to business and marketing, and helps you feel like you’re not alone on this adventure.

I’ve known Sarah Santacroce for more than 7 years. In that time, I’ve witnessed her evolution to become an expert on how small business owners can effectively market their business, without the hype. She dives deep and only teaches what she knows works the best for her audience. Sarah is clear, concise and pragmatic in her style. There’s no fluff, no hype and only the best information which she’s always up-to-date on.

In 10 years of full-time online marketing experience, I have met less than 5 people who are as authentic and heart-centered as Sarah. I had the pleasure to get interviewed by her for the humane marketing podcast and it was one of the most inspiring and fun interviews I ever did. Thank you for your dedication to make the online marketing space more real and authentic, Sarah!
- Thomas Bröcker
It has been said that Sarah is a “benign presence” who comes with the fierce resolve of a “mama bear.” She is ambitious, envisioning a global movement to re-story marketing; stepping outside the box of shoulds, oughts, and expectations to be herself; calling with warm-hearted exhortation and instruction to her tribe; adding spiritual and energetic dimensions to the daily efforts of presenting herself and inviting us to do the same; and revealing a way forward, out of the Fourth Turning (Strauss & Howe’s historical, prophetic vision) into the new civic order of the next First Turning.
